Choose a flora
Floras are lists of plant species specific to a geographical region or a particular theme.
Choosing a flora adapted to your observation allows you to refine the identification results and increase your chances of obtaining a correct identification. By selecting the appropriate flora, you ensure that the identification tool focuses on the species most relevant to your location or subject of interest.
Pl@ntNet offers a wide selection of floras, grouping species by geographical regions or specific themes. You can easily choose or change the active flora at any time via the drop-down menu located at the top of your screen.
By default, if your geolocation is activated, Pl@ntNet will automatically determine the geographical flora corresponding to your current position. This ensures that identification suggestions are adapted to your local environment.
For more information on how floras work, see the dedicated page.
